Aye looked a good wee track. My night would have been good if my car had worked d'oh. Oh well new Hobbywing setup is in the post. Can we run wood again next week?

Next week is the AGM Kev, so no racing, But if you want more wood racing come and vote for it at the AGM.

Just back off holiday (that's part of the reason for not being about) and I will try my best to be their next Friday. Depends on how many things have gone wrong at work while I've been away.
Then again I might not go back for another week yet.

Well I gotta admit the racing looked like fun, something it hasn't been for a while. Great to see something different other than the same track going out week after week. Looks like woods back I think. Not that it'll bother me as I won't be there to race on it next year but those that were there thoroughly enjoyed their selves. Good to see.

Yeah it might be good for certain individuals, the same track every week especially those that race but i think a change is good for everybody. The club needs to do something next season, what i don't know but bringing back the wood seemed to be on everyones mind that raced on friday. As i stated previously they all enjoyed it and had a great time.

The thing is...
The club is run by the members and the members are going to make the decisions at the AGM. I have my ideas and opinions and I can only propose changes which would make me come along more often.
If the majority want something then you have to give them it even if it means losing some members but the problem we have is we can't lose any more
I hope something is being done to get members along to the AGM on friday so we can change the club to get it back to being busy.

The Club needs more attending members who race for fun , that was the original reason I joined the Club way back.
I admit due to the Fun element dissappearing and obviously my health, I have been absent for quite a while but have kept in touch via friends and this hardly used now website.
I sincerely hope that the future committee can resurect the Club and attendance figures we used to have; even in these poor economic times, especially for the newcommers to the sport.
I hope to be at the AGM, health permitting:)
