Ive been compairing both yellow and green double sided tape lately and iv got to say my green double sided tape seriously increases corner speed and also top end down the straight, although the yellow isn't too far behind.
Try it for urself if you dont believe me.:-D

You see, I used to have the "common people" double sided tape, I've recently changed to the yellow stuff, and the results are great, OK my corner speed was good with the green stuff, but it's much better with the yellow stuff.

What is double sided tape, and why would you use it on ur car? Are you using it in place of mini pins for extra grip?

Double sided tape comes in various colours, sticky on both sides and is great for sticking speedos, transponders and receivers onto ur chassis, the different colours create different characteristics for your cars handling and top speed,
Theres been much debate into what colour makes your car go faster.
Personally i prefer the green but every1 to their own ae

How can tape have an effect on your car?

It can't. It's just like go faster stripes.

If you want stability in the high speed sweepers then this is the stuff.

I can import for anyone else who wants it

I have just recently moved to green tape and have noticed the difference and it was this that made me get into the A final at Ayr. Going to try and get some of the yellow stuff from John to help me on carpet on friday

Yup - full JDM spec.

That equates to a limited slip diff, higher rev limit and championship white paint

I took that a little to far - I'll get my coat  ...

Ballsie, the white stuff is sooooooooo slow.

Plus, you'll find that it's not actually the colour of the actual tape which gives me the edge, it's the colour of the stick resistant backing.

Yellow's the way forward.

Green's a mingin colour anyway, and the white stuff isn't dense enough, which raises your cars centre of gravity due to the amount of air amongst the tape. Hence, the grey more dense stuff is better, as the weight is nice and low to the bottom of the chassis.
