Just incase you haven't already seen this : http://www.ttechracing.com/

Here is a quote from an email from Richard Weatherley which I found by a google search.

"THE PREDATOR IS BACK ....

"Predator X10" 4WD 1/10TH OFF-ROAD

Specifications are still being finalised as research continues. More information will be sent to you around the 9th February

In the meantime, and to prove we haven't forgotten you, TTech is pleased to be able to tell you of the "Development Philosophy" for the new car :-

* TO USE ALL ELEMENTS OF THE PREDATOR CONCEPT TO MAINTAIN "THE UNFAIR ADVANTAGE"
* FURTHER DEVELOP THOSE ELEMENTS WHERE EVEN MORE PERFORMANCE CAN BE GAINED
* TO STRENGTHEN WEAK COMPONENTS
* INCREASE EASE OF ASSEMBLY, AND INCLUDE ALL FACTORY TEAM BUILDING TWEAKS INTO THE COMPONENTS
* LOWER MAINTENANCE THROUGH STRONGER COMPONENTS AND REDUCED WEAR COMPONENTS
* RETAIN AND ENHANCE ALL AESTHETICALLY PLEASING ELEMENTS OF DESIGN AND QUALITY
* INCLUDE IN THE KIT ALL FACTORY TEAM SPECIFICATIONS AND PARTS. (AN "X10" IS A TEAM SPEC CAR)
* CREATE UNSURPASSED SPARES BACK UP WITH GOOD STOCKS
* KEEP TEAM AND DEVELOPMENT INFORMATION FLOWING TO DRIVERS

Just wanted to let you know, that you are now registered and that as specifications, information and pictures become available they will be sent to you.

Thanks for your interest. Your feedback is valued.

THE PREDATOR IS BACK !

From what I can read they reckon it's gonna be pricey.

Yeah, dont think there should be any doubt of that considering the old ones speed and i read somewhere else that they say they've made it lighter (in terms of rotating mass dont know what/how exactly) but therefore quicker.

Looks like they have spent ages developing.......a fancy new front & rear lexan wing!
Wow!

Always fancied a Pred but its a high maintenance car to run.
They look like a bucket of bolts but they run well once you get it set up.
I saw Neil Cragg running one a few years ago at the indoor finals. It was scary!

i think the problem with the predator has always been the manufacturer back up, or complete lack of. if you break it you might get the bits you need, but who knows how long it will take. the predator is with out question one of the fastest cars around a track, but if the back up from the manufacturer isn't there i think they will struggle to sell.

from what i have seen at the nationals, they seem to be good on smooth tracks, if its really bumpy they tend to bounce around a lot.

I wonder if they'll make a touring version this time? :?:

anyone seen the worlds track for this year?
If the Pred can work there, then it would seem to me that they would have improved over the last version of the car.
Personally I do not think it would work this side of the pond, and as Ross said who wants to buy a car ( no matter how good) that you cannot get parts for.
