Hi John, yes for me and I have spoken to Derek Grogan who says yes too (two old fogies together Ha Ha) though his health would stop him marshalling unless it improves.:-D

I have voted now too Dave:-D

You need to vote in the poll Malky, Cheers.

I have said no because I enjoyed the tracks that had the bypasses and the small jumps on a friday night but I know that this does not bring in the hardcore buggy guys.

I need to get back to the club but fridays are just too hectic at the moment.

So is this gonna happen this friday? It'll be my one and only chance to race buggies on a friday,i'll be working every friday from next week, going live another thing, this won't jeopardise the sunday club will it?
Just wondring.

Minipins on carpet. I've not done that in a good 10 years lol. Good thing I've kept a few half worn sets

Soz for not been at the club for ages as working in Aberdeen again. Am I right in saying that the club is essentially going to revert back to the types of tracks that we first started racing on at bowhouse all those years ago?

Hopefully this measure will keep the Friday slot alive and a greater interest in the hobby will be achieved. However as we have already seen this may eventually be to the detriment of tourers but it's only right that the club follows the needs of it's members and maybe this will help to reinvigorate the situation.

for me personally i would only run tourers on a full carpet track. i havent got a problem with buggies running on a friday but i think they should run around the tourers not the other way about. with a bit of promotion im sure new touring car drivers could be found

Its a pity the ones that say will run tourers never turn up when needed. All good at saying they will be there but are not to be relied on.so insted of telling us on a forum that you would race then maybe you should consider turning up most fridays.doesnt have to be all of them but more than 2 a year would help.

well said your exactly right, theres only about 6 of us that turn up on a regular basis the others just moan about not getting carpet tracks and on the weeks when carpet is raced they are no where to be seen

Same with me, at best I can only make 2 a month unless they invent a way to race wirelessly from the north sea!

Friday nights have a lot of competition for time with other events when I am back... so I can't win
