Hi Stu.

Yeah its me.

Been keeping my eye on the forum for a bit now and thought I would make an appearance!

Congratulations on your new arrival!

Think I will pop down to the club next sunday and check out the Buggies.

How many drivers turn up?

Im currently working on a Yokomo buggy as a wee project. Will be ready to race pretty soon.

If u use MSN Messenger then add me and we can have a natter.

hi kenny, good to hear from you, as stuart said the club is not on this sunday because its been booked out for something else, the weekend after that the club also won't be on because most of us who race will be away down to Bury for the BRCA national meeting . the next weekend we are on is 26th of june.

Hi Ross.

Glad to see that u are still off roading.

What surface do u race on usually? Carpet or wood?

we have pretty much given up with wood as its now usually covered in this white dust stuff that the dancers use which makes it like black ice. so its usually carpets. we end up with loads of sets of half worn mini spikes from the nationals so we just run on those.

All carpet!

That sounds class!

Will need to look for some foam tyres.

What cars are u running Ross?

sorry about the slow reply, i run an associated B4 team edition and a losi XXX4 G+.........
usually i run a 19 turn motor, we find that these are as quick indoors as anything else.

i used to use a 15 x 2 in my B2/3 and a 12 x 3 in my Cat.

why do u run an Associated 2wd and a Losi 4wd?

wouldnt u be better running all Losi?

there really isn't much difference between the losi xxx and the RC10 B4, they both make the A at big meetings. but the B4 is more popular as its an easier car both to set up and to drive. the cars hardly ever break so there isn't really any need to worry about being able to share spares between cars.
