Hi guys,
I thought I would pop in here and say hi. I have started an online forum called www.rc-scotland.com and its aimed at all disciplines of radio controlled modelling. Just now its over run with aeroplanes and helicopters and I was hoping to get you guys to pop in, say hi and leave your mark!
I started the forum as a lot of the specific forums and local clubs seem to be struggling with the economic down turn and numbers have been dwindling. The aim was to create a Scottish strong community and try to bring together clubs, enthusiasts as well as local modelling suppliers.
Im 26 years old, I grew up outside Falkirk, went to Larbert High, Falkirk College and worked for Scottish Power in Bonnybridge! My main interest is RC Helicopters, however I have previously owned HPI Savage and just yesterday was helping one of your forum members tune his Baja buggy!
I hope that we can help to introduce new members to your club and help to point people in the right direction. If we can work together and get events more publicised then it will do us all good!
As I said, pop over to www.rc-scotland.com and say hi!
Kind Regards,
Mike Brownlie

p.s. admin i hope you dont find this offensive.
