If I click on someones name I can see their visitor messages. For some reason I can also delete those messages from that profile. Not sure if its just me or if everyone can do it. Probably not a great idea though.

I've always found, when slagging off someones grammar, its best to make sure your own post is correct when you're doing it

The wiring looms and plastic behind and around the dash on the mark2 ZS all have the BMW logo molded into them.....I kid you not:shock:

all the wiring and air con of from the last shape 3 series, the shell is a 10 year old Honda Civic Saloon, the gearbox is from Ford, the clutch is German - but the engine is 100% Rover

The suspension was developed by Lotus, which can't be a bad thing

It's not too sure what it is really - apart from rapid

No Jesting here. More power, more torque, less weight, plus its Yellow. Yellow cars are always quicker than blue ones.

Big Gordy
20th May 2008, 09:37 AM
More power
Possibly...depends what size of diesel engine you have.

more torque
Definately

less weight
Overall...maybe (definately if its French as there made from tinfoil)
Engine....never. Compairing like for like diesel engine will always be heavier.

Yellow cars are always quicker than blue ones.
OK you win:mrgreen:

OK you win:mrgreen:

240bhp, 400lb/ft torque, 1036kg Kerb weight, and the car comes with a petrol turbo variant, that is identical apart from the engine and the petrol car weighs 15kg more. Diesel engines aren't as heavy as they used to be.

Maxxed_Ross
20th May 2008, 04:21 PM
BHP - 178.0
Torque (lbs feet) - 283.4
Unladen weight - 1235

yeah I think you might have me there, but any idiot can go fast in a straight line

It's scientifically proven than non-metallic cars are the fastest. Less weight in the paint!

Solid Paint for the win! :)

The SD1 Ah yes bring back memories. My wife had a (Blue) 3.5 version. It was a great car. (other than the fact it fell to bits with rust eventually)

I cant believe your SD1 had rust Derek your wife must have been one of the unluckier ones. Did she take it out in the rain by any chance - I heard they didn't like that.........

Mine as you can see never gets out in the rain as I plan to keep it more than a couple of years!!!

I've never been a fan of white until recently. The new white paints just look amazing, and loads of manufacturers are now offering Arctic (or some other stupid name) special editions.
