The zonda it an excellent car, I certainly wouldn't mind one but I'd rather have one of these.

This would have to be sent to the range rover tuner overfinch for the power upgrade. The engine is bored out from 4.2l to 5l and various components are relpaced, resulting in an increase from 390 to 500bhp.

ouch, and you were doing so well until the lardy BMW loaded up last (2 mins after all the rest because all that LARD was trying to squeeze down that long squigily pipe from the beach  )

I like real world machines too :)

DC5 Integra - Totally Agree!

Skyline - it would have the be the NISMO R34 Z-Tune!

The Gallardo is a beautiful car.

Now this is where I think you must be smoking something ...

Impreza P1 is a classic, but surely you don't me the WR1 one in chav, gaylord blue? Oh dear, understeer central!

Saleen - we live in Great Britain - we have corners here

Toyota Altezza - thats a Lexus IS series ! Argh ! :D

Who would want a M5 when this goes even harder across 90% of the rev range! As for them being lardy well there is just something epic about a weighty car that feels so solidly made yet handles fantasticly and covers ground as fast as these do. I would have one as my everyday car.
http://www.germancarfans.com/photos/3050530.001/1002.jpg
This is the best looking small sports car for ages. You get a Porsche badge and keyring, handling sorted by people who actually know what they are doing, great engine and build quality to match!

http://www.maserati.com/esImages/Maserati/20040226/gransport_esterni_distance_G.jpg
Finally I would have a Maserati Gransport for trips to the ring' etc. This is more interesting than a Ferrari and far more tasteful than the Japaneese stuff albeit not in white. I am not into bling, spoilers, dump valves, gold wheels or cherry bomb exhausts so I would leave all these cars standard.

I definatly like that maserati. Most car I would leave standard but I would have to send the range rover sport to overfinch, cos after that it would give a cayenne turbo a run for its money and it would almost match Ballsies evo for straight line speed.

lol

Did you see the old model racing the SLK on an old Top Gear episode - on the grass FFS! :D

Grant Barclay
24th October 2005, 04:41 PM
Yip, thats not the old model thats the 580s which is an upgraded version of the normal range rover. Their version of the ranger rover sport os called the range rover supersport, looks good but I personally wouldn't want the bodywork change id prefere it to look standard, on the outside anyway.

There is a feature in one of the lr magazines about a guy thats got a 2nd gen. range rover (as stu would say metrocab gti )that has been to overfinch, he races it in the gumball 3000, it can beat a focus st170 while towing a trailer with another st170 on it.

We have just got our new car, A new Focus Ghia Estate, in Tango Orange, and it's very nice!!

We've still got the chugapug to get us to the racing though

How do I link to a picture on my computer?? and not on a website?

Cue: Ballsie!!

You can't mate - unless your PC is configured to be a webserver!

Send it to me and I'll post it on the site.

Cheers.

Smoking something???

The Impreza - I mean the original P1 not the new funny blue one. It's nice enough but like you say too many chavs have them  The R1 was inport only and was only available in white.

The Saleen Mustang - awsome looking car. As for handling it can't be that bad because the race version ( stripped out and a few race mods) came second in the American LeMans Series the first year it entered!

Toyota Altezza - have you ever seen one? I have, it comes standard with wider arches, carbon-fibre splitter, sports cat. system with huge pipes and best of all alot more power than the Yuppy IS200 :P

So ya boo to you

icant help but wonder why you like the range rover..they are nice cars to go round the town in and blah blah drink your tea at the side of the road in the highlands

maybe it goes 150mph...but when your a driver and you like FASt cars you dont think your car as "sub-zero" when you pass out a vauxhall astra on the motorway at the speed of sound you like your car cos you struggle to turn the wheel with G force round a corner..(god that sounds sad)
most cars these days will do 120ish..the saxa sport thing does 130mph..can you imagine..i mean yes it was screaming the bolts off itself but it was fast

why do you like it?

Maxxed_Ross
26th November 2005, 07:31 PM
I think it's knowing that if you hit a Saxo at 130 you'll go straight through it without feeling a thing

Bit inconsiderate and rude if you ask me :D

I heard of things going bloody quick on salt plains in Utah, but never salt going fast itself!
