Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the new overweight Renault Clio... Coming your way soon, lying broken down at the side of your road.

Oi!

Less of it blue oval man.

The new clio is a cracker, as if the old one wasn't a peach. :D

Lets be honest though ballsie, it will be pretty bad for reliability. Renault, Peugeot and Citroen are all doing disasterously at the moment for reliability!

I saw a 55 plate C4 at the side of the M8 last night, with an AA van behind it, with the guy poking about under the bonnet. Shame really, cause I have to admit, the C4, particularly the 3-door, is really nice looking! But still a Citroen at the end of the day :(

I think this award should be renamed 'Quite likely to be a duff car award' Going through past winners only a few crop up that are fondly remembered. Even the few 'classics' in there hardly are memorable for desireability or reliability these days. Yes there are a few that lasted well and served many as good cars but when they pass on to the scrap yard few will miss them!

Not bad at the time i'm sure!

Something makes me thing this award it too favourable to french folly!

Only time I have ever seen one it was being driven over by a moster truck - in France. So even they must have regretted voting for it!

More dubious french nonsense!

http://www.caroftheyear.org/imagenes/Previous/scorpio.jpg

I had one of these parked infront of my house for a year. Cats loved doing the toilet on it!
http://www.caroftheyear.org/imagenes/Previous/opel_omega.jpg

But nobody and nothing loved these!
http://www.caroftheyear.org/imagenes/Previous/fiat_tipo.jpg

The French really thing they can teach the rest a thing about cars. Yep, depriciation, poor sales, unreliability, uglyness - They wrote the book!
http://www.caroftheyear.org/imagenes/Previous/citroen_xm.jpg

After 1991 the cars are just boring!
I know you will all call me a snob and yes there were some cars I missed but they were no means any good. And no, A BMW has never won this award!

Because of this I think we should try to get this award renamed the Savour the Awfulness award!
