The Free Land of Marc and Squirrels is a tiny, environmentally stunning nation, renowned for its burgeoning mighty squirrel population. Its compassionate, intelligent population of 5 million are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.
The large government juggles the competing demands of Social Welfare, Education, and Healthcare. The average income tax rate is 25%, but much higher for the wealthy. A small but healthy private sector is led by the Automobile Manufacturing industry, followed by Door-to-door Insurance Sales and Beef-Based Agriculture.
Crime is moderate, and the police force struggles against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. Marc and Squirrels's national animal is the mighty squirrel, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the mollar.
Thankfully the beef trade is flourishing and we have many forests for the might squirrels, also im glad of the price of the Mollar to the pound.
