the finals link for carpet Rd13 isn't working. It also looks like there are some issue with some of the other results from previous weeks, it maybe something to do with the setup of the web publishing from BBKrc program. I take a look at the setup & let you know what I find

looks like there's nothing wrong with the web publishing settings & it looks like the BRCA 1/10th offroad section have the same problems!!!!

This leads me to think that the BBKrc current version has a few bugs in the publishing department

The Top 5 championship tables at the bottom of many of the pages on the website have had a little change. They now reflect the number of rounds in each championship e.g. the wood shows 18 of 18 and carpet 14 of 18.

This information continues to be drawn from the MySQL database running on the webserver.

Hi Guys and Gals

On reading the overall results from last year above, I have been thinking about this!

Think this needs to be a manual calculation as there is nothing to stop BBKrc from taking the best (say) 16 from 18 wood and 8 from 18 in carpet (Assuming you have 16 better scores than wood) the program will take the highest 24 scores from 36 available to it of those input to that combined series.

So to arrive at the overall club championship positions, we will need to count your best 12 or less scores from each individual series, wood and carpet and add them together. Comments.....

That's a damn good point Alex and the point of the combined championship is to award the most consistent driver over the two surfaces. The present calculation might suit a carpet specialist over someone who was equally good on carpet and wood.

I'll all for manual calculation.

Hi Guy any sign of last weeks results yet. Ryan is doing my nut in asking me when they are going to be up. i think he spends more time looking at the results and telling me how far he is in front of so an so than he does racing!

anything for a quiet life, so i have asked the question now.

As he is racing this Friday and i'm not i will have to put up with ' ha ha i'm in front of you in the championship' until we get to dropping rounds!!

Alan and Smallie. Is there an easy way I can update the results to the site on a weekly basis. I have been trying to produce the results on a Saturday, and I know you both have lives and may not be able to put them up right away! Would it be as easy for me to put them on the site directly. I have updated the SRCA site last year by replacing/updating the results through an FTP program.

Is the FRCC site the same?

Let me know if this would be possible.
