Guys,
I am considering moving to Tamiya, and have been looking on ebay at the 415MSX kit prices. Where are the best places in the UK for TRF415 spares ?
Thanks
Raymond

You will find it difficult sourcing fast spares for them, but ballsie has good contacts and would advise you on what to buy , also scotty and big si have them and some spare I believe.
Most of the Tamiya boys go the ebay and HK route for them though; good hunting as its part of the fun of rc

Raymond - if you want a 415 MSX then I have a brand new one for sale - cheaper than HK prices! Martin Wallace (I think) got my shocks so I replaced them with the retail item - exactly the same! Everything is brand new in the box and unbuilt.
Looking for £220. That's at least £40 cheaper than you will find it on ebay and no risk or import tax from a seller you don't know.
Let me know if you are interested.
As for spares, I have a fair sized lot of them. It's not so much a "hunt" for spares - they are easy to find at good prices, but slightly to harder if you want them mega cheap.

www.mercuryracing.co.uk (http://www.mercuryracing.co.uk) have some spares, but their prices are higher than HK or Japan.
Even though I'm not running Tamiya anymore, I'm still more than happy to keep the communication channels open and get people some good deals on spares and hop-ups.
Cheers.
