As the title says, what is the point of crawlers?
I dont get it.
They certainly arent built for racing so what do you do with them, just slowly drive over stuff?

I suppose its the trials of RC cars.
I thought the same about push bike trials when i was into mountain bike racing. Once i saw the guys hopping away in the flesh i grudgingly respected the skill involved
I can't see crawlers being any different i.e i'd like to see them in the flesh as i reckon there's a lot of skill involved.
Personally though i wouldn't bother as, like you've pointed out, you can't race them :-D

Try looking at the videos on utube and on the UKRCRC forum Kenny, you dont have to be fast to be skilled these days Mate:)

But they do race them, not at speed but over set courses against the clock and in quite a few classes, see my reply to Kenny and the UKRCRC website forum Mark

I quite enjoy a bit of crawling... big plus is you need next to no space to do it and can make a very challenging course out of the random rubbish you find in the back garden.
As said already it's like trails riding... it's all about control and not touching the marker gates!
