Suitable for the 415/MS and Evo IV/MS.

From one of the other forums I use (David uses it)

"Basically, the Pro-Module Rear Suspension (official name) is a cantilever system but with no additional moving parts. It turns the upper link and the hub into a cantilever. The Pro-Module dampening geometry has more leverage over the tire allowing a softer oil and spring to be used to equal what the tire of a traditional system would see. So even though you’re now using a softer spring and oil, it won’t physically feel soft. In addition, the rate is more expediential with its travel. This portion is reactive to the roll center position. For example: If you were to theoretically lower your upper link down to the same point as the lower arm hinge pin, the system would behave conventionally. The significance of the softer oil is its light viscosity paired to the expediential suspension rate. The result is a suspension that absorbs the common imperfections of the track surface (slow speed shock shaft movement) while also being able to absorb sudden compression such as a curb or chicane (high speed movement) with less tendency to “pack” increasing the range of effective dampening. It should be a noticeable difference in stability. In fact, it makes a car that is out of tweak, less noticeable."

The more we order - the cheaper it will be!

Cheers,

Alan

Nah it looks hideous and i can't for the love of me understand why the 415 and EVO's need new suspension. This will be the 3rd suspension for the 415 and the 2nd for the EVO.If it was really any good the Tamiya top drivers would use it but seen as it's only David Jun that's using it i'll give it a miss.

Fair dues.

It's only really designed for asphalt anyway. Only the TRF USA drivers are using it as its a Tamiya America part only. It'll be interesting to see who uses it at the Reedy Race.

There's a version for the front on the way too.

I will only be ordering it to try it if someone else does too. It's too pricey to pay postage from the USA for only 1 item.

I won't be too disappointed if no-one else is interested - my wallet would probably thank me ! :D

Tempting as it is I really need to get the normal set up sussed first :x

Very strainge looking though, cool concept. If it wasn't so expensive I might have joined you

8) Its a pity it does not give you the option of different toe ins so I think I will give it a miss also Alan

I would think that the normal toe method would still work wouldn't it? :?

It does - you just change the toe blocks like you always do.

Tamiya are pushing the 0 degree uprights in a big way for all their cars.

I don't know why not, it's a great idea. Two screws and walla! 8)
