East Kilbride Model Car Club - New Venue

EKMCC now have a new venue, meetings on Monday nights 6 till 10/10:30.
As of this coming monday, August 9, we'll be based in Glasgow (Pollok), 5 mins from Silverburn Shopping Centre and the M77, checkout www.ekmodelcarclub.co.uk for exact details and a google map.

We plan on having a winter race calender up, by the end of August. Buggies 2/4wd and short course.

I hope to have some pics up, within a few weeks.

Might pop along and see your new venue as it is 5 mins from my house - I'm in Mosspark. Miss the TC Racing but as it was nearly an 80 mile round trip on a Friday night stopped it about 3 years ago. Would need to buy a new buggy as all mine are Tamiya Hotshots.

Cuz get a TRF201, awesome buggy. Flying with mine at the moment and having a lot of fun doing the off road racing.

We tried the hall out for the first time last night. It is very small, but within the next couple of weeks we'll get the carpet and jumps moved down, should be ok for small club races, I think 2wd with 10.5 motors will be the best.

We are on the look out for rope and some carpet if anyone hears of anything.
