Stock 27T motors - Who uses what?

My Trinity Monster has finally died and I am on the look out for a new motor.

What does everyone else run?

What would be the best buy or should I stick with another Monster?

Where can I get another Comm for it?

Monster Quad Mag is my pick at the moment, quick and reliable at the moment!

i have just switched from a fanton (schumacher team edition)
to a quad mag monster

to be honest the fantom has more torque but on the slippy stuff at falkirk it aint as good its better on grippy surfaces.
whereas the quad has a higher rev band and appears (as you all saw on friday) the better motor

so i would say to everyone get yorselfs up to leisuretime and buy yours now its a cracking motor

I use the putnam monster with just 2 magnets. The monster is a high rev motor and has always lacked a broad spread of torque. The quad magnet is even more peaky imho and even less suited to the hall we race in.

different strokes for different folks i dont like too much torque as it gives you too much snakeing on the straight but i have belt drive and have never had a comparison with a shaft drive
