I'm very lucky to have this choice of what car to take to work with me!

Astra VXR (with 19" Wheel Option)

Woah nice pics Ballsie ;)

I like the look of the VXR more - how do the 0-60's and torque compare?

Thanks Mate.

Tend not to take too much notice of book figures for performance - I rather make my own mind up. Problem being is the Focus has only done 300 miles opposed to the Astra's 5000.

Will let you know once the Focus loosens up a bit :) Very promising so far though.

Cant believe I missed this.

Having recently test driven both these cars, along with a shed load of other stuff, on a Monday morning you want to take the focus. Quick, refined, nice to drive, good powerband.

But if you're in a hurry, or you need cheering up, take the Astra. I doubt there is very little in it in terms of speed, but you always feel like you're going faster in the Astra

Yeah its great.....you just have to be careful that the VTEC does not cut in when you are cranked over (cuts in @ 7000rpm), it gives near 160 mph or 60 mpg depends on how you ride it!!
